The contractor intends to pour the remaining portion of Hwy. 65/69 south of Hillcrest on Friday, October 31st and complete the pour of Hillcrest west of Hwy. 65/69 on Saturday, November 1st.  The two remaining signal pole bases at Hillcrest will be completed on Thursday.  The right turn lane, southbound to West Hillcrest is scheduled to be poured early next week.  We are anticipating the completion of the Hillcrest intersection, including temporary pavement markings, by November 10th.  Temporary pavement markings are planned due to the colder temperatures.  Permanent markings will be completed next spring.

Motorists are being encouraged to check the city website for frequent updates and the Iowa Department of Transportation's website for traveler information.
