Even with the excessive amount of rain, construction continues. Storm sewer work will be completed on Hillcrest. The contractor will be performing paving set up on Wednesday and intends to pour the northbound lane of Hwy. 65/69 on Thursday. With the holiday weekend upon us, there will be limited work on the project this Friday. The contractor has stated the project is still on schedule for completion by the end of November.

Motorists are being encouraged to check the city website for frequent updates and the Iowa Department of Transportation's website for traveler information.
