Indianola Wellness Campus Board of Trustees

*Note: The Indianola City Council will be voting on the proposed ordinance to create the Indianola Wellness Campus Board of Trustees at their May 15, June 5 and June 19 meetings. The proposed ordinance includes the duties and terms of the Board as stated below. 

Duties

This board adopts rules, policies, and regulations, subject to Council approval, governing the organization and use of the Indianola Wellness Campus as it may deem necessary. The board will cooperate with the Indianola Community School District, Simpson College, and other organizations, in the use of facilities which may be available in order to foster recreational and wellness activities for the community.

Terms

The board consists of seven members appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council. Members must be residents of the corporate limits of the City of Indianola.
