Indianola Public Library Closed Until Further Notice

Update 3/18/2020, 10:30am

The Indianola Public Library building will be closed to the public and staff beginning Wednesday, March 18th, 2020 until further notice.  We recommend hanging on to any items you may have until the library reopens. Late fines are being waived at this time, but the library’s outside drop box will remain open for patrons. Patrons can disregard any overdue notices at this time as well. Holds will be available for pick up when we reopen. We will keep all holds in place and holds will not expire.

Library administration will work with City officials and the Library Board of Trustees to reassess the situation and determine when it is best to reopen.

As always, you can use the library from home. The library offers a wide range of digital resources, including books, audiobooks, and magazines.
