In the City's continuing effort to keep the public infrastructure in proper working order, crews will be inspecting sewers in two sections of town. The inspections will be done via a process known as "smoke testing" and will begin September 13th and concluding September 20th (weather permitting). Smoke used during this process may be visible, but is harmless, does not create a fire hazard and dissipates quickly. Information has been distributed to residents in the neighborhoods where the inspections will occur via door tags. The brown lines on the maps below indicated where the smoke testing will be done. Please know that data collected during these inspections will assist the City in prioritizing capital improvements to this vital infrastructure.
