The City of Indianola will begin removing trees from public property beginning the week of October 29. Trees were identified for removal based on the condition of the tree, as well as the location and to thin dense populations. The tree-killing insect, Emerald Ash Borer has been identified in Warren County, and the city is removing trees proactively in order to spread the cost out over several years. In addition, replacement trees are planted and maintained over time. This year's project should be finished by the end of December.
