Library/City Hall/Public Safety Building
Phase 3:
Over the last three years, the City has been evaluating public safety staffing levels and facilities to ensure we are about to serve our community now and in the future. Results of these studies revealed shortages in staffing and significant/costly problems with current space for our Police and Fire Departments. This interferes with their ability to quickly respond to emergencies. We have been working to address the staffing levels and now are exploring transforming the current City Hall/Public Safety building into a Public Safety Center. Below you will find a link to take a virtual tour. We hope that the virtual tour is helpful as an alternative to an in-person tour. While we would prefer to have you tour in-person, because of the constraints caused by the COVID pandemic, we are unable to do so.

Residents are invited to participate in two surveys regarding the future of a new Public Safety Center and a joint Library/City Hall. The surveys are available at the link below. Surveys should 10-15 minutes each. All surveys are due February 21, 2021, by the end of the day.
