A Sign Permit is required to install, alter, repair, replace or relocate any sign as established by the City Code.

Special Notes:

  Persons must file an application, along with plans that adequately detail the work to be covered by the permit. The plans are reviewed by the Building Official before approval. All illuminated signs shall be subject to the provosions of the Electrical Code of the City,

Inspections:

  All work for which a permit is required is subject to inspection by the Building Official. The applicant is responsible for contacting the Community Development Department at appropriate intervals during construction.

 

Timing:

  Permit is usually granted in 2 to 5 business days.
