The Indianola Fire Department is a combination fire
department that provides both fire and emergency medical services to the
citizen of Indianola and surrounding area. The department covers
approximately 118 square miles of territory in the center of Warren
County. As a combination department we have fulltime, part-time and
paid-on-call staff that provides services 24-7-365 to all citizens in
the department’s jurisdiction.
The ambulance service, as authorized by the State
of Iowa, is capable of providing paramedic level care, which is the
highest level of care you can receive outside of the hospital. With
Warren County not having a local hospital we feel it is important to be
able to provide the citizens the best level of service we can for the
emergent needs of the community.
The members of the department stand ready to assist
you in your moment of need. The staff is well trained and committed to
be one of the leading departments in the state and understands the
importance and effect our role has on the community. We look forward to
serving you and we welcome you to visit the department, we would be glad
to show you around. Thank you for visiting our website and feel free to
contact us if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Brian Seymour
