Story Times

Preschool Story Times
(Story times will not be held if school is canceled or dismissed due to weather)

Story times are held continuously throughout the year, beginning August29. 2011 and continuing through April 26, 2012.

Registration is not required for these storytimes.

Toddler Time
A fun event for children ages 12-36 months, with an adult. Simple stories, songs, crafts, and rhymes.
Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. **

Story Explorers
Thirty minutes of fun for children ages 3 - 5 years. Themed sessions including books, songs, fingerplays, and simple crafts. (All Story Explorer programs are the same.)
Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.**, or Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.

Book Clubs

Junie B., Kindergartner
For Kindergartners Only!
First Monday of the month beginning October 3 from 3:30-4:15 p.m.
Meet Junie B. Jones, who also just started Kindergarten. We'll read Junie B.'s adventures and do crafts and other activities. Please register.

Junie B. First Grader
For First Graders
Second Monday of the month beginning September 12 from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
She may have grown up but Junie B. hasn't changed a bit! A book club for Junie B.'s fellow first graders, we'll read stories from the "Junie B: First Grader" series. Please register

Andrew Lost Book Club
For Second and Third Graders
Third Monday of the month beginning September 19 from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Andrew somehow gets shrunk down to microscopic levels - and adventures soon begin! Read books from the "Andrew Lost" series and do crafts and activities. Please register.

For Fourth and Fifth Graders
Fourth Monday of the month beginning September 26 from 3:30-4:00 p.m.

We'll supply the pumpkins and the paint. Join us after the annual Costume Parade on The Square.

Drop-In Origami
Monday, October 31, 2011 from 1:30p.m. -3:00 p.m.
For Grades 4 and up.
Stop by the Library and check out your origami skills. Paper and ideas provided!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever Party
Tuesday, November 15, 2011 beginning after school and ending at 4:30 p.m.
Grades 3 and up.

Teddy Bear Sleepover
Thursday night, February 16, 2012 from 7:00-8:00 p.m.; Teddy bear pickup Friday, February 17 at 10:00 a.m.
For Teddy bears belonging to children ages 3 - 8.
Curious about what happens overnight at the Library? Bring your Teddy bear to the Library for a special evening of overnight fun. Cameras will record what happens once everyone leaves! Please register.
