Pool patrons now have the option of using new technology to simplify and speed up season pass purchases with the addition of a finger vein biometrics system. Finger vein scanning equipment captures images of the vein patterns inside the finger.  These are unique to each individual, and because they are inside the body, finger vein patterns are virtually impossible to replicate.

Scan your finger once to enter the system and

• Eliminate annual pool pass pictures for children
• No more pool passes to carry
  (or lose and replace!)
• No need for additional cards for daycare
• Future pool pass purchases will be able to be made without a trip to the office

At the pool, patrons will simply insert their finger into the non-invasive, contactless finger vein reader to gain admission.

This system also helps the Parks & Recreation department “Go Green” by reducing the number of plastic photo ID cards issued.
