The 18-hole course is located just to the east of the Pickard Park shelter and there are no fees to play.  Set among rolling hills and native prairie, the course uses woodlands and a small pond and creek.Scorecards are available at the information kiosk located at the course.  Spring/Summer and Fall Disc Golf Leagues are organized by Indianola Parks and Recreation.   The Des Moines Challenge Tournament is held on the course each year.

Driving Directions:  From south or west: I-35 to Hwy 92 (Exit #56), east to Indianola; from north or east: I-80 to Hwy 65 (Exit#141), south to Hwy 92; park is just east of town on south side of road.
