  4. Youth Basketball League Registration Deadline

    November 16, 2018, All Day

    Adult volunteer coaches will teach basketball skills through practices and games. The program will emphasize participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Whether you are just starting or have played for a few years, there is a place for you on a team. When registering, please include shirt size, accurate height and weight, number of years played, and whether a parent is willing to coach. In an effort to allow coaches and parents to plan ahead and know specifically what nights practices and games will be held, each team’s practice schedule will be assembled by the Parks and Recreation Dept. A practice and game schedule will be sent via email at least one week prior to when practices begin. Please consider the opportunity to positively influence youth at a young age, volunteer coaches are vital to the success of this program! If interested in volunteer coaching, please indicate that when registering. Practices tentatively start week of Jan. 7, with games starting week of Jan. 21.

Perfect for those just beginning a workout program, they are also easily adjusted to make the exercise more difficult for those advancing through their exercise program. Come join us and learn how to use these versatile and easily transported bands for your next workout routine. Free class for adults 50 or better. Strength bands will be provided free of charge. Provided by the physical therapists at Athletico Physical Therapy-Indianola.
