IPAC hopes you will sit down and play! The commission acquired a piano, painted it, tuned it, and will move it to different businesses around the Square this fall and again next year after the winter weather has passed. The piano is available for anyone in the public to play during regular store hours for the business who is hosting the piano. This project was chosen by IPAC to attract visitors to our community and give them an incentive to stay longer.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony to kick off the project will be held on Friday, September 10 at 3:30 p.m. on Salem Avenue in front of Pageturners Bookstore. Follow the City’s Facebook page to see where the piano goes next.
Thank-you to our local corporate sponsors for making this project possible!
