Building and Inspections

Before homeowners, property owners, and contractors begin a project, please review building and zoning code regulations -- A permit will be required for any construction that physically changes or adds structure to a property or for work regulated by city codes and ordinances. As a property owner or contractor, please note that you are responsible for ensuring that your projects are not built on or limiting the function of existing easements located on the property. If you have any questions regarding your project, please contact the Community Development Department.

Inspections

Inspections are now scheduled online through Geo Permits when pulling a permit. Please log into your account on GeoPermits and request an inspection through the online portal. Please provide at least 24-hours before your requested inspection date -- inspections will not be scheduled same-day.
