The Brush Facility serves residents with brush recycling, household hazardous waste, and e-cycling collection. The 2023 season will begin on April 1 and end on December 10.
- The City of Indianola will be accepting residential electronic waste at the Brush Facility during normal hours of operation.
- The City of Indianola, working in conjunction with the South Central Iowa landfill and the Metro Waste Authority, offer a household hazardous waste collection site with free disposal.
- Seasonal clean-up is held twice a year. In the spring we offer curbside pickup. Curbside pickup will occur on an "off" week for recycling. In the fall the Brush Facility is open one day for large items/appliances drop off. Most items can be dropped off free of charge, but restrictions do apply. To view the 2023 flyer click here.
