Adventure Pass
How it works: Blank Park Zoo & Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden
- Check open dates/times of the attraction before reserving the date you want.
- Reserve your FREE pass using an Indianola Public Library account of an adult age 18 or older in good standing.
- Print your pass.
- Go to the attraction on the date specified on your pass
Present your printed pass along with your valid photo ID, which must match the name on the pass.
How it works: Des Moines Children's Museum
- Check open dates/times of the attraction before reserving the date you want.
- Reserve your FREE pass using an Indianola Public Library account of an adult age 18 or older in good standing.
- Print your pass.
- A message from the Children's Museum: "Since we have been reaching capacity in the mornings, and have had to ask visitors to wait until other families leave, we are now offering the opportunity to Reserve a Spot for your family during the first hour that the museum is open each day. For additional information and to Reserve a Spot click HERE."
- Go to the attraction on the date specified on your pass
Present your printed pass along with your valid photo ID, which must match the name on the pass.
How it works: Science Center of Iowa
- The Science Center is currently operating with limited days and times. Please see their website for the current schedule.
- The Science Center has set aside a number of admissions for each time slot for Adventure Pass users. You do not need to notify them of your intended time of attendance.
- Reserve your FREE pass using an Indianola Public Library account of an adult age 18 or older in good standing.
- Print your pass.
- Go to the attraction on the date specified on your pass.
Present your printed pass along with your valid photo ID, which must match the name on the pass.
What you need to know
- The library currently has two passes for each venue.
- Each pass includes admission for 2 adults and 2 children.
- A printed pass is required for entry.
- Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and may be reserved up to 90 days in advance by cardholders 18 and older.
- Passes may be reserved every 365 days per library card for each location.
- Passes cannot be used for any other special member events (e.g. Zoo Brew or Night Eyes).
- Cardholders should verify the venue is open before reserving a pass.
- If you are unable to use the pass at the reserved time, please call the library at 515-961-9418 to cancel your reservation. Reservations can be cancelled up to one day before the reserved date.
