The Indianola City Council will hold a property tax levy public hearing at 6 p.m., followed by a regular meeting at approximately 6:15 p.m., on Monday, April 6.

These meetings are open to the public and will be held in the Council Chambers at Indianola City Hall, located at 110 N 1st Street, Indianola, IA 50125.

A livestream will be available through the City of Indianola's YouTube channel.

Public Hearings

Public hearings are opportunities for the public to speak in front of Council on a specific agenda item. The following public hearings have been scheduled:

• April 6, 2026, at 6 p.m. regarding the proposed maximum tax levy for FY27.
• April 6, 2026, at 6:15 p.m. regarding the proposition to authorize a loan agreement for Street Equipment.
• April 6, 2026, at 6:15 p.m. regarding the proposition to authorize a loan agreement for Public Safety Equipment.
• April 6, 2026, at 6:15 p.m. regarding the proposition to authorize a loan agreement for IWC Capital Items.
• April 6, 2026, at 6:15 p.m. regarding the proposition to authorize a loan agreement for P&R Equipment and Vehicles.

Comments submitted prior to 4 p.m. on the day of the meeting will be sent to the Council before the meeting.
