North 14th Street will be temporarily closed at East Hillcrest Avenue beginning March 22, 2023, as part of the Indianola Industrial Park Expansion Project. This project will open nearly 60 acres of ground for future industrial development. The closure is necessary for public utility expansion, including sanitary sewer and water, to the east of the intersection. During construction, North 14th Street can be accessed from East Iowa Avenue. This temporary street closure may last up to three weeks, barring unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions.
