Indianola Summer Events Bring Exciting Activities, Increased Traffic

Indianola is gearing up for a busy two weeks, with multiple events happening across the community. Most notably:

  • The Warren County Fair kicks off on Wednesday, July 23. It runs through Monday, July 28. View More Information
  • The National Balloon Classic starts on Friday, July 25. It runs through Saturday, Aug. 2. View More Information
  • The Celebrate Warren County Parade, organized by Indianola Hometown Pride, is set for 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 26. View More Information and Check Out Parade Route
  • The Indianola Summer Art Festival is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 26-Sunday, July 27. View More Information

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, the City of Indianola encourages visitors and residents to plan ahead. Expect increased traffic on Highway 65/69 and Highway 92, and take extra precautions when commuting. Please obey all traffic laws, be mindful of pedestrians and allow extra time to reach your destination.
