Senator Julian Garrett of Indianola is proposing legislation right now in 2018 which has the result of placing the "sincerely held religious beliefs" of the KKK and other hate-based ideologies above...

Senator Julian Garrett of Indianola is proposing legislation right now in 2018 which has the result of placing the "sincerely held religious beliefs" of the KKK and other hate-based ideologies above all Iowa laws that protect Iowans including the Iowa Civil Rights Act and Hate Crimes law. This is damaging to the reputation of Indianola as a progressive place that welcomes people to our great state. For economic development sake and basic decency, please let him know you don't support this effort to diminish the Iowa Civil Rights Act and other laws by elevating hate above justice. Let him know you don't support called bill SF2154 in the Iowa Senate.

I live on S. Spruce street in a new section of townhomes. Century Link and Mediacom will not provide internet services, due to Indianola's plan to provide fiber. Verizon does not have a tower and US Cellular tower is on far east side of town, poor signal for West Side. It would be great if the fiber install started with those residents that do not currently have any option with service providers for internet.

A search engine tells me they are coming from your city and a map pinpointed them to Wienman Insurance near the middle school. I can find no exact name or address. Can you pull that information from their business records so that I can file a complaint?

I have been receiving a plethora of calls from 515-303-0185. The calls are incessant. A search engine tells me they are coming from your city and a map pinpointed them to Wienman Insurance near the middle school. I can find no exact name or address. Can you pull that information from their business records so that I can file a complaint?

It would be a significant improvement for the summer activities and promoting a healthier lifestyle if there were more pedestrian crossing sites along Hwy 92. Both the apartments and residential developments on the east end of the street and the community on the west end of the street are forced to drive in order to reach any part of downtown Indianola, including the square, the pool, and the college campus. I'm sure that it would have additional benefits for the community itself to be able to be more active as they participate in summer events as well as spring and fall. People with children would feel safer taking them across the street to the Warren County Fairgrounds and as town continues to develop and grow, this would facilitate increased foot traffic to the businesses along Hwy 92. This would be an easy "upgrade" to our town.

There are 4 large pin oaks and 1 large maple on mine and my neighbors yards and they don't lose their leaves until after first week of December (sometimes into January ).
My idea would be to open the brush facility maybe one or two weekends in December and January when the weather allows so these leaves could be gathered and taken to the brush facility.
