    Here's a fun, refreshing way to tone up, condition and feel better. Exercising in the water provides lower impact and is less likely to cause injury. Not only that, it is also therapeutic and can aid in rehabilitation following an injury. Swimming skills not required.

  4. Afternoon Adventures Speaker Series: Old Stones & Old Bones

    July 22, 2021, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Indianola City Cemetery, south edge of town on west side of the road. Follow signs

    Join local historian Elodie Opstad as she shares her latest research, along with an update on restoration efforts at Indianola’s Old City Cemetery. Elodie began researching the stories of Indianola residents buried in the old city cemetery. Donations from tours have been used to repair and resurrect some of the old headstones and you’ll be able to see before and after pictures of the results. In this program she will also share stories of early settlers residing in a different section of the cemetery. Their stories are newly discovered and need to be told. Cemetery symbols and their meaning will be explained. Take a step back in time with this fascinating and educational presentation! Rain site: Indianola Activity Center.
