The Indianola Fire Department has received a new Rosenbauer Commander Fire Engine. This fire apparatus replaces an older engine placed in service in 1996 that seated 3 personnel. Engine 333 will be first due on all rural structure fires and second due on city structure fires. An on-board Hale pump and 1,250 gallon on-board water tank will improve the speed and efficiency of fighting structure fires. The engine carries 6 firefighters, protective equipment and all gear. This engine is also the first Indianola fire engine to sport the new black over red paint scheme. Driver/Operators have been trained on the engine operations and it has been placed into service.
