[ARCHIVED] Thank You, Captain Cross: 31 Years of Service With Indianola Fire Department

Indianola Fire Captain Chuck Cross

After 31 years of service with the Indianola Fire Department, Captain Chuck Cross’ last day is Oct. 30, 2024.

Captain Cross joined the department on Oct. 11, 1993. He was a paid on-call firefighter/paramedic for five years until becoming an official full-time firefighter/paramedic on August 31, 1998.

In 2022, Cross was named the City of Indianola's Employee of the Year for the 2021 calendar year.
