Tucked in the southeast corner of Indianola's Pickard Park, a world-class disc golf course has quietly earned its spot among the sport's premier destinations. With sweeping prairie views, wooded fairways and a championship-level design, the course is more than just scenic – it's a symbol of what's possible when a community comes together with passion and purpose.
Ahead of the 2025 Discmania Challenge, presented by Trubank, dozens of volunteers worked under the summer sun to prepare the course for thousands of spectators and the best disc golfers. Their work is a testament to a deep pride in place, as Indianola takes its turn on the global stage part of the Disc Golf Pro Tour.
