UPDATE: The Indianola City Council held a regular meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, August 4.
Among the items Council approved were:
- A resolution authorizing the certification of liens to the Warren County Treasurer for purposes of assessing the cost of nuisance abatements against properties.
- A resolution approving Final Payment Number 9, Change Order Number 6, Final Acceptance, and Retainage Release for Indianola Industrial Park Plat 3 Improvements.
- A resolution approving an amendment to an agreement with Snyder & Associates for the East Hillcrest Avenue Reconstruction Project.
- A resolution approving the site plan for Pickard Commerce Park Plat 1, Lots 4 and 5 (404 South 21st Street).

Craven Appointed to IMU Board of Trustees
Additionally, during its meeting, the Council motioned to appoint Paul Craven to the Indianola Municipal Utilities Board of Trustees. Mayor Richardson swore in Craven following Council approval.
This board supervises IMU by setting policies, approving budgets and ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable and affordable electric, water and telecommunications services to the community.
Craven will begin his term immediately and end on July 1, 2031. Thank you for your commitment to serve our community, Paul!
