Join City Horticulturist Angie Buchanan at Buxton Park for this annual event on Saturday, October 18, from 10-11 a.m. to harvest fall blooms before the beds are cleaned out and the park is readied for winter.
Please bring hand shears or pruners, plus a vase or container filled with water for your cut stems. Gloves are optional.
At 10 a.m., Angie will share guidelines on which areas are open for cutting, then you’ll have an hour to harvest your flowers to take home and arrange into bouquets to enjoy, or to share!
No pre-registration necessary. All ages welcome!
