[ARCHIVED] Indianola Public Library Announces New Hours Starting June 1, 2024

Indianola Public Library new hours beginning June 1, 2024.

The Indianola Public Library on Wednesday, May 2, announced that it will operate under new hours beginning Saturday, June 1. The changes were made to accommodate the increase in library visits and the growing Indianola community.

The library will open an hour earlier at 9 a.m. Monday through Saturday, which adds over 300 hours that the library is open to the public each year. Additionally, more Storytime offerings are included with the schedule change. Storytime will now be held at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as 10:30 a.m. for Saturday Stories.

The new hours are as followed:

New Indianola Public Library Hours

Beginning June 1, 2024

  • Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Friday-Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
