[ARCHIVED] Indianola City Council Meets July 1, 2024

UPDATE (July 2, 2024): The Indianola City Council held a regular meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024, followed by a study session. 

Among the items Council approved in the regular meeting were:  

  • Ordinance amendments to Chapters 165, 170, 171 and 172 of the City of Indianola Code of Ordinances.
  • A resolution approving the purchase of streetlight poles from Wesco.
  • A resolution approving a Professional Services Agreement with HR Green for Fiscal Year 25 General Wastewater Engineering Services.
  • Appointments to the Hometown Pride Committee, Indianola Wellness Campus Board of Trustees and IMU Board of Trustees.
  • A resolution approving the Indianola Housing Study and Needs Assessment.

The next regular council meeting and study session will be held on Monday, July 15, starting at 6 p.m. Draft agendas for upcoming Council meetings can be found at the links below. These are working drafts and are subject to change. Agendas are published on the City's website the Thursday prior to a scheduled City Council meeting.

ORIGINAL POST (July 1, 2024): The Indianola City Council will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024, followed by a study session at 7 p.m.

These meetings are open to the public and are held in the Council Chambers at Indianola City Hall, located at 110 N 1st Street, Indianola, IA 50125.

The meetings are also available via livestream through the City of Indianola's YouTube channel.
