Starting Monday, April 21, streetlight maintenance will begin around the Indianola Downtown Square/Indianola Main Street District.
The current paint is peeling due to a manufacturer issue during production – not caused by the City of Indianola or Indianola Municipal Utilities.
To correct this, the poles will be stripped and repainted. Contractors will be working daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until the work is completed.
To help the project move smoothly, “No Parking” signs will be posted near the poles being worked on – just one parking spot per pole – and will shift as work continues. Please plan accordingly.
