The City of Indianola invites residents to participate in a public survey as the Central Iowa Regional Transportation Planning Alliance (CIRTPA) updates its Long-Range Transportation Plan.

The survey will help guide future investments in the regional transportation system.

According to CIRTPA’s current plan, last updated in May 2020, the Long-Range Transportation Plan serves as a blueprint for developing the area’s transportation system over the next 20 years. The plan aims to protect existing infrastructure investments while identifying innovative solutions to improve mobility and travel options across the region.

Survey responses are due by Sunday, September 14.
