[ARCHIVED] Thanksgiving 2025: City of Indianola Holiday Schedules

As Thanksgiving approaches, the City of Indianola expresses heartfelt gratitude to each member of our community. We are thankful for the privilege of serving you and contributing to the well-being of our great city.

In observance of the holiday, please be advised of the following closures for non-emergency departments and offices:

Wednesday, November 26

The Indianola Activity Center and Indianola Parks & Recreation Department will close early at 3 p.m. The Community and Economic Development Department will also close its office early at 3 p.m.

Thursday, November 27 (Thanksgiving)

 All non-emergency departments and offices will be closed. This includes:

The Indianola Fire Department and Indianola Police Department will continue to support the community on Thanksgiving.

Friday, November 28 (Day After Thanksgiving)

All non-emergency departments and offices will be closed, unless otherwise noted below:

  • The Indianola Wellness Campus will be open from 8 a.m. to noon. There will be no group exercise, pool availability or learn and play offered.

The Indianola Fire Department and Indianola Police Department will continue to support the community on Friday, November 28.

Regular Business Hours

Regular business hours for the Indianola Public Library will resume Saturday, November 29.

Regular business hours for the Indianola Wellness Campus will resume Saturday, November 29.

Regular business hours for all other non-emergency City departments and offices will resume Monday, December 1.
