[ARCHIVED] Join Mayor Richardson for Next Coffee with the Mayor: Wednesday, April 1

Coffee with the Mayor April 1, 2026, at The Corner Sundry

Starting January 7, 2026, Indianola residents will have a new opportunity to connect directly with Mayor Steve Richardson through a monthly event series called “Coffee with the Mayor.” These informal gatherings are designed to bring community members together in a relaxed setting to stay informed about City projects and initiatives.

“City government should feel open and accessible to everyone. I believe we’re at our best when we take time to listen to each other,” said Mayor Richardson. “These monthly gatherings may be casual, but they’re an important way to build trust, share information and stay connected as a community. I hope you’ll join me as we work together to shape a future for Indianola that we can all be proud of.”

Each session will begin with brief remarks from Mayor Richardson, followed by an open discussion where attendees are encouraged to speak freely. Whether you have a specific concern, a creative idea or simply want to learn more about what’s happening in Indianola, this is a great way to be part of the conversation and engage with others.

To make these sessions available to as many citizens as possible, the event will rotate locations throughout Indianola. Each event will start at 9 a.m., unless otherwise noted.
