[ARCHIVED] Indianola City Council Meets Monday, January 19

The Indianola City Council met for a regular meeting on Monday, January 19. The meeting can be viewed on the City’s YouTube channel.

Among the items that Council approved during the regular meeting were:

  • Amendment Number 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with HR Green, Inc. (Engineer) for the South C Street Sanitary Sewer Improvements.
  • A memorandum of agreement with Mid-Iowa Planning Alliance for the EECBG Project Administration.
  • Payment Application Number 16 in the amount of $88,303.23 to Vanderpool Construction, final project acceptance and release of retainage for the East Hillcrest Avenue Reconstruction Project (North 4th Street to North 14th Street).
  • Resolution accepting Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Facade Easement Agreements.

The Council will next meet for a regular meeting on Monday, February 2. The meeting is open to the public and will be held in the Council Chambers at Indianola City Hall, located at 110 N 1st Street, Indianola, IA 50125.

  • Resolution setting a public hearing on Monday February 2, 2026, at 6 p.m. regarding various amendments to Chapter 170.05(1)(C) and 170.05(2)(A), Subdivision Regulations.
